Libix offers a generous 6-month free trial period to help you explore all features and determine if Libix is the right fit for your library. This Trial Policy outlines the terms and conditions of the trial period.
By starting a trial with Libix, you agree to the terms outlined in this policy.
1. Trial Eligibility
To start a Libix trial, you must:
- •Be at least 18 years old or have legal authority to enter agreements
- •Be the owner or authorized representative of a library
- •Provide accurate and valid contact information
- •Have not previously used a Libix trial (one trial per organization)
- •Accept this Trial Policy and our Terms & Conditions
2. Trial Duration
- •Duration: 6 months from the date you activate your trial
- •Free Access: During this period, you have full access to all premium features at no cost
- •No Credit Card: We don't require a credit card to start your trial
- •No Automatic Charge: Your trial won't automatically convert to a paid subscription
3. Trial Features Included
Your trial includes:
- •Unlimited seat management and floor planning
- •Complete member database and profile management
- •QR-based attendance tracking system
- •Fee collection and payment processing
- •Advanced analytics and reporting dashboard
- •Email and phone support
- •Regular software updates and new features
4. Upgrading During Trial
You can upgrade to a paid subscription anytime during your trial:
- •Your subscription price depends on when you upgrade
- •Day 1-30: ₹299/month (locked for 12 months if you choose annual)
- •Day 31-90: ₹399/month
- •Day 91-180: ₹499/month
- •After 180 days: ₹599/month (standard pricing)
All prices exclude 18% GST. Choose between monthly or annual billing.
5. Trial Cancellation
You can cancel your trial anytime:
- •Cancellation is effective immediately upon request
- •You'll lose access to all features upon cancellation
- •Your data will be retained for 30 days before permanent deletion
- •You can request data export before cancellation
6. End of Trial Period
When your 6-month trial expires:
- •Your account will be locked 30 days before expiration (warning period)
- •You'll receive multiple email reminders to upgrade or cancel
- •If you don't take action, your account will be automatically archived
- •Data will be permanently deleted after 90 days of inactivity
7. Trial Usage Restrictions
During your trial, you agree to:
- •Use the service only for legitimate library management purposes
- •Not resell or redistribute the service
- •Not attempt to access systems beyond authorized functionality
- •Maintain the confidentiality of your account credentials
- •Not use the service for unlawful activities or harassment

Unified Governing Documents Notice
All users, subscribers, libraries, reading rooms, study centres, educational institutions, and other clients of CodePex Technologies Private Limited ("CodePex") are hereby advised that the FAQs, Terms and Conditions, Privacy Policy, Refund Policy, Trial Policy, Disclaimer, and all other applicable legal agreements, policies, schedules, annexures, and documents (collectively, the "Governing Documents") shall be read, interpreted, and enforced together as one integrated legal framework.
Libix is a Library OS product and independent brand owned, developed, operated, and maintained by CodePex Technologies Private Limited.
By accessing or using www.libix.in, the Libix platform, or any related products or services, you expressly acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to all Governing Documents collectively.
No single policy shall be interpreted independently unless expressly stated otherwise.

User
Any individual, library, reading room, study centre, educational institution, organization, administrator, or authorized representative registering for or using the Libix Free Trial.
1. Free Trial Offer
1.1 Libix provides a completely free, no-obligation trial of its Library OS platform for six (6) months, unless otherwise specified.
1.2 No subscription fee, onboarding charge, setup fee, or payment is required to participate in the free trial.
1.3 Participation in the trial does not obligate the User to purchase a paid subscription after expiry of the trial period.
1.4 The User may discontinue the trial at any time without providing any reason.
2. Purpose of the Trial
The free trial is intended solely for evaluation of Libix and its features, including but not limited to:
- • Membership Management
- • Seat Management
- • Digital Seat Map
- • Library Administration
- • Attendance Tracking
- • Fee Collection
- • QR/RFID Attendance
- • Reports and Analytics
- • WhatsApp Notifications
- • Staff Management
- • Subscription Management
- • Other Library OS features made available during the trial.
The trial is intended only for product evaluation and familiarization.
3. Trial Use Conditions
3.1 The Trial Platform is provided strictly on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis.
3.2 CodePex Technologies Private Limited makes no representation that the Trial Platform is complete, error-free, uninterrupted, or suitable for any specific operational requirement.
3.3 The Trial should primarily be used for testing, evaluation, staff training, and familiarization before purchasing a subscription.
3.4 Certain features, integrations, APIs, storage limits, messaging quotas, or premium services may be restricted, disabled, or modified during the trial.
3.5 Features available during the trial may differ from those included in commercial subscription plans.
4. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, CodePex Technologies Private Limited shall not be liable for any damages arising from use of the Libix Trial Platform, including but not limited to:
- • loss of revenue;
- • loss of profits;
- • business interruption;
- • loss of memberships or customer records;
- • corruption or deletion of data;
- • downtime;
- • inaccurate reports;
- • hardware compatibility issues;
- • software conflicts;
- • unauthorized access;
- • cybersecurity incidents;
- • network failures;
- • third-party integration failures; or
- • reliance on any reports, recommendations, analytics, or automated decisions generated by the Trial Platform.
Since the Trial Platform is provided free of charge, CodePex Technologies Private Limited's total liability shall, under all circumstances, be limited to INR 0 (Zero Rupees).
5. No Warranty
The Trial Platform is provided without any express or implied warranties, including warranties relating to:
- • merchantability;
- • fitness for a particular purpose;
- • uninterrupted availability;
- • compatibility;
- • accuracy;
- • completeness;
- • reliability;
- • performance; or
- • data integrity.
CodePex expressly disclaims all warranties to the maximum extent permitted under applicable law.
6. User Data Responsibility
6.1 Users remain solely responsible for all information uploaded into the Trial Platform.
6.2 Users should maintain independent backups of all important information.
6.3 At the conclusion of the trial, CodePex may delete, anonymize, archive, or permanently remove trial data without prior notice.
6.4 Users should not rely upon Trial data for statutory compliance, accounting, taxation, legal proceedings, financial reporting, or regulatory submissions.
7. Security and Acceptable Use
Users agree to:
- • keep login credentials confidential;
- • prevent unauthorized access;
- • immediately report suspected security incidents;
- • comply with the Libix Terms and Conditions.
Users shall not:
- • attempt unauthorized access;
- • reverse engineer the platform;
- • introduce malware;
- • interfere with platform security;
- • perform automated scraping;
- • misuse trial accounts; or
- • create multiple trial accounts to circumvent trial limitations.
8. Indemnification
The User agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless CodePex Technologies Private Limited, its directors, officers, employees, affiliates, licensors, and service providers against all claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, penalties, and legal expenses arising from:
- • use of the Trial Platform;
- • breach of this Trial Policy;
- • misuse of the platform;
- • violation of applicable laws; or
- • negligent or unauthorized acts committed by the User.
9. Marketing and Publicity
Unless the User expressly objects in writing, participation in the Trial authorizes CodePex Technologies Private Limited to identify the User as a Libix trial customer for promotional purposes.
This may include use of:
- • organization name;
- • logo;
- • testimonials;
- • success stories;
- • implementation photographs;
- • product feedback.
CodePex shall not disclose confidential information or personal data without lawful authority or consent.
10. Trial Termination
CodePex reserves the right to:
- • suspend;
- • restrict;
- • modify;
- • shorten;
- • extend; or
- • terminate
the Trial at any time without prior notice.
Users may discontinue participation at any time.
Termination of the Trial shall not entitle the User to any refund, damages, compensation, or future subscription benefits.
11. Risks of Trial Software
Users acknowledge that trial software may include:
- • beta functionality;
- • incomplete modules;
- • experimental features;
- • temporary bugs;
- • service interruptions;
- • scheduled maintenance;
- • performance degradation;
- • compatibility issues;
- • integration limitations; and
- • other software defects normally associated with evaluation software.
The User voluntarily accepts all such risks.
12. Conversion to Paid Subscription
12.1 At the conclusion of the trial, the User may choose to subscribe to a paid Libix plan.
12.2 No automatic subscription or billing shall occur unless the User expressly purchases a paid subscription.
12.3 Upon conversion to a paid subscription, the Libix Terms and Conditions, Refund Policy, Privacy Policy, Billing Policy, and all other Governing Documents shall continue to apply.
13. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
This Trial Policy shall be governed by the laws of India.
Any dispute arising from the Trial shall be subject to arbitration in accordance with the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996.
The seat of arbitration shall be Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, India, unless otherwise agreed.
Courts at Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh shall have exclusive jurisdiction over matters not subject to arbitration.
14. Acceptance
By clicking "Start Free Trial", registering for the Libix Trial, or otherwise accessing the Trial Platform, the User acknowledges that they have:
- • read this Trial Policy;
- • understood its contents;
- • accepted all terms contained herein; and
- • agreed to be legally bound by this Trial Policy and all other Libix Governing Documents.
Brand Ownership Notice
Libix is a proprietary software product and brand owned, developed, operated, and maintained by CodePex Technologies Private Limited.
Although Libix is marketed under an independent brand identity, all contracts, subscriptions, invoices, legal obligations, intellectual property rights, customer relationships, and liabilities remain those of CodePex Technologies Private Limited, unless expressly stated otherwise.
